This is a great little job we did for an old faithful customer of ours who has recently moved to Harden, down the past the Southern Highlands.
They wanted to be independent by having enough solar power battery storage and solar panels to hopefully eliminate their power bill and also security of supply during blackouts. With more than 35 years in electrical industry including 15 + years of solar installs, we could create a system to accomplish our clients goals. For these reasons Andrew and Nell chose and entrusted Simply Solar Solutions for the task.
Here we have used market leading Sunpower All Black panels that look striking with all black rails and fittings. To fit the bill, we have installed an extra couple of panels on the south flat roof to provide that bit more, particularly during summer. Down bottom we have gone with the SolarEdge Energy Hub, the smartest inverter on the market which comes ready for battery, EV charger, hot water and smart home control. To go with this we have installed the new SolarEdge Battery and backup interface. Once this built out wall is painted, this will be a terrific energy centre.
Already the battery is more than coping with overnight consumption and moving this lovely country home to full independence away from the grid. A very smart and timely move by Andrew and Nell, considering electricity costs are going up and getting tougher for the average home to afford.
